Thank you for being our Hero, Friend and Mentor!
The world of agriculture lost a giant last week. Charles Woodburn Cobb was born, February 5, 1938 in Claude, Texas. He attended Claude Schools and then enrolled at Texas Tech. Charles graduated in 1960 with his Bachelor’s Degree, in Animal Science.
He was one of the originals. Charlie, devoted his life to bringing natural solutions to farmers all over the globe. A pioneer in the feeding of Direct Fed Microbials (Yeast, Probiotics and Enzymes) he mentored many a young person and introduced “natural concepts” that were way ahead of their time. He knew every aspect of the business, and everything he touched he made better. He was instrumental in introducing Probiotics and Egg antibodies into the Calf Industry. He was a consultant and mentor to us, and much of his wisdom and scientific knowledge is present in our products today.
Thank you for the positive impact you had on us and Calves all around the world! He led by example, and will be greatly missed. He leaves behind an incredible legacy.
Our thoughts are with his wife Jean, and his entire family.
